A little while back I wrote about web-based image editors, great tools that allow content editors to prepare images for use on a web site. For minor edits and simple resizing, it just doesn't make sense to rely on a Web designer or to purchase expensive image manipulation/layout software. In my last article I mentioned several sites that offer fairly sophisticated image manipulation tools. However much of the time we simply need to resize or crop an image quickly. WebResizer.com does just that without the need to open an account and at no cost. There are some simple image improvement tools, corners can be rounded, borders can be added but basically, it does what it says it does: resize.
